Are we Sure that technology/Science have achieved everything that it wants to achieve? If Yes, why are we having a R&D centers and Technological department. Are we sure that Archeological Departments have discoved everything? If not then we should give the benefit of doubt based on the book(Ramayan) which existed long before modern science and Archeological departments. One thing I find strange is people are talking about RAM without talking about VAlmiki. Do we have any proof of Valmiki? Probably the answer is NO, but still Ramayan exist! what does this indicate? This means absence of evidence is not the evidence of existence. Govt should first tell us who was Valmiki before rasing any questions on RAM.
Yes, noted economist Bibek debroy wrote on similar lines yesterday. But these psuedo, UPA guys are real fundamentalists and respect no Hindu sentiments.
A secular state cannot try to bring science (that too selectively , as there are already reports by ocean engineers that its a man made structure) to rationalize for a particular religion.

That not a logic...they will say as Ram is fictitious so is Valmiki.....the fact is science does not have evidence to anything of that era which they say be it big bang theory of origin or meteorite hitting earth which destroyed all on the earth.....Ramayana and Mahabharat have been passed on to next generations all though out. After 500 yrs present day will not have any evidence left so even existence will be questioned then.....its faith of people that remains..... all the politicians are doing is playing a minority appeasement and vote bank politics by hurting Hindu sentiments because Hindus are the most tolerant and divided lot....do they have the balls to question existence of allah who lived only few decades earlier???

And when govt says there is no scientifuc proofs for the existence. Can they produce the proof of those Research? When was that research carried out that Ram doesn't exist?

Forget Gods and things that old...do you have proof your antecedents 3 generations back...so shall we say that that you are not yours fathers/grand fathers/ great grand fathers lineage......do you have a research document of that??????

Bang on target, the world becomes a myth on that basis. The dumb history professors have nothing to achieve in life, their subject is the most boring subject in school, they are frustrated people who keep contradicting each other.
