The meaning of talib is some one who needs. Taliban means student who seek knowledge. Every body is taliban in one way or another. So please do not misunderstand the word.
As far as vadalism at AMU it is very unfortunate but this is the case every where even in USA where tens of students are killed in case of firing what to say about indian universities where such drama takes place every now and then.Even at your IITs where bright students die of ragging, and other pressures. Donot blame the one university especillay using religion. If you have courage please visit aligarh live here and then make your final judgement. MASROOR

The problem is not about somebody getting killed by some maniac OR internal gang war (I'm not sure which one it is in AMU case), but the reaction of the fellow students. Did the US student go on rampage after one of them got killed? Did it happen in any IITs. I don't remeber reading anything like it...

Dear Jana, IITs get all educated stuff. I request you not to compare IITs with a Madarsa
