Please stop this. It is diversioanry tactic to deviate from the main issue. Can they file such an affidavit in respect of god or Christ or Mohammad. It is not about worship. It is about denying the very existence of God or Ram or Jesus or Mohammad which makes this government not secular but atheist and communist. Many people in the Government and their friends actually hate hinduism although for their own reasons continue to hold on to hindu names.They have no right to take all kinds of liberties with our gods and lords as they dare not do the same with other religions. These cowards are actually afraid of dire consequences that may follow from taking liberty with other religions. So first be counted whether a hindu or non hindu before sermonising us. And hindus must rise as one person against such mischief and put fear in the hearts of those who think they they are easy targets. Cowardice is not the same thing as tolerance. And not standing by your faith is cowardice.

I recollect once Periyar Ramaswamy Nayakar who had a deep hatred for Forwrd communities especially Brahmins and an avid Ram hater derogatorily remarked that Ramayana be named "Geemayana." One devotee challenged him to convert his name to Geemaswamy Nayakar. Probably that must had shut him up. Now what has Karunakaran has to say. Is he for the affidavit or against?

It is distressing that so far D.Raja, Yechuri, N.Ram, Arundhati Roy have not come to the rescue of the bold intellectuals who drafted the superbly scientific affidavit. The left have one more open agenda to withdraw support, because substitution of scientific affidavit denying Ram, and succumbing to protests of communal party like BJP was not part of common Minimum Program
