In the Name of Science
by gagan chadha on Sep 15, 2007 09:55 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Science is not what christians say it is. It is already written in Hindu holi books thousands of years ago. Not for no reason Hitler worshipped Swastika. The poor fellow used it inverse, which led to his doom.

Vedic science never said that earth is flat. incase you saw discovery of India - Bharat ek Khoj serial about 15 years ago, the shloks enchanted and their meaning given during credits run after the end of the serial clearly said how the universe for formed. What einstien discovered fow not something new, it was discovered 1000s of years ago by vedic scientist.

So far as authenticity of Rama goes, if it was a story set in Ayodhaya, I would also think it was all rubbish. How could valmiki describe far away lands which exact geographical locations?

Everything that Christian science does, has already been done by vedic scholars thousands of years back.

And evrything got destroyed during Mahabharat, what is left is only legend.

When history is very old, it becomes legend. because the physical proofs no more remain intact.

but all this is beyond the understanding of neo religions which are so your - only a millineum old. These religions are so insecure, they ask you to bow your head or attend religious gatherings every sunday.

Mind you i hate going to temple, and especially the most popular ones because how inconvenient it is. When I talk about hinduism, its the vedic one not the brahmin chores...

Lets understand that science cannot be left un advanced if it really a proven one , the scientific advancements which we got is from western , nothing swadesi or vedic . It will be a nonsense to tell vedic is a whole and soul of science , although they have made some contributions, thatsall.

I also want to point
That there is no denying the fact that ZERO was a concpet from india
and great mena like Aryabhatta and Bhaskra have contributed to Maths
But this is such a small part of science, if it is viwed in isolation and exaggerated it is worse than a lie

See the views of the President of Mathematcial Association and the director of Standford Kieth devlin
On why he thinks it is Islam which kickstarted science in his Guardina artcile

islam?
islamists conquered india and cllaimed the achievements of indians as their own........the only contribution of islamists is the discovery that the earth is flat like a carpet, and that the moon can be shelved into two like a peanut!

Probably you know better history than Keith Develin who is a authority on Mathematics.
He is the President of Mathematical Association of America and I am pointing to a article appeared in Guardian UK (Not a from a Muallah)

Dear balaord, You are right that there are not much evidences. However, you must know the basic difference between christians and Hindus (and perhaps muslims) is their quality of documentation. Christians are extremely good in documentation. All our ancient knowledges have been lost just because of our lack of documentation. You can realize the difference instantly if you happen to meet any american or eurpoean and transact any business. They will document the entire meeting. It is in their culture.
This documentation ability of christians basically conveys the feeling that their science is superior to us. Have you forgotton all those geographical indications (WTO)controversies about neem, haldi etc.?
Our forefathers have made the mistake of not recording their knowledges and that's why we are not in a position to convince the person like you with evidences.
At least we should wake up and start recording our ancient wealth of knowledge.
