Question one - What does arrest of shankracharya has to do with Muslim reservations?
Question 2 - what does Kashmir Hindu refugees have to do with illegal migrant detention act?
Muslim or Islam has nothing to do with either existence of Rama or Rama setu. We have nothing to do with the report. We have right to vote like anybody else in India. Which we should. Now 11% of Muslim cannot make a big difference in any election. Anybody who gets elected gets elected by majority of Hindu votes. Most if not all the parliament members in government are Hindus. Muslims are just scapegoats used by our so called leaders to sell hate and violence. And Mr. Tarun Vijay you are doing a very fine job helping them out. The reports the whole ram setu issue, Babri Masjid and all the political propaganda is just to create differences between Hindu and Muslims. At the end we as common people will be loser and out politicians will win no matter who dies and who suffers.

Why do you need to pose a question here? Why do you want to defend your faith and your beliefs? They are your own.So why do you want to justify them infron of people who will not understand or appreciate your point of view.Just read the differing views and accept or reject them.
It is question of Ram setu. They Dravidian parties lead by Karunanidhi are making noise.Congress led govt filed an affidavit in the SC and now they have withdrawn it.As a hindu,I have sn unshakable faith. It does not matter what congress does or someone else does.My beliefs are stronger than Ram setu or any other structure that is associated with Lord Ram.
Taliban destroyed the bamiyan buddha statue,in Afghanistan.Congress is destroying Adam's bridge.
Forget about the faith aspect, the dredging and the dynamites are destroying the eco system. It will lead to problems later on.It is not going to be benefitial in any way in the future.Local fisherman will suffer, whether they are Hindus or muslims, or for that matter whether they are Aryans or Dravidians.

FYI,I am not even staying in India for last 5 years. My contention is not religious but ecological.I hate congress,BJP,sang parivar,AIADMK ,the left parties and the DMK.They will ruin India beyond any hope.
Yes,as a hindu,I did feel awkward, when Govt said that they do not have a proof about existence of Ram.But my feelings were not hurt,to make me abuse people of other faith.I do not get so low,as some of the other people do.
A person can either believe in god or not.But then we have very few people who do not believe in god.But those who do,they fight amongst each other for the superiority of their faith. And get down on insulting the beliefs of other people.

Hammad, you are right - the politicians use Muslims to pocket a fixed chunk of votes, they divide Hindus to create another sizable chunk of votes.
You will also realize Muslims also play into the hands of politicians by playing up their religious expressions in violent ways - be it the case of a cartoonist, or a writer in a faraway land, or a lady author from Bangladesh. In most cases without even reading what is said the muslim mass is incited, and a mob is ready to lynch the lady in Hyderabad. Not even one secular politician stands up in her defence. Isn't Muslim on the street then showing the world what their religion of peace really is?
Your q2- Kashmir Hindu refugees were creation of the Kashmiri Muslims and an insensitive goverment at the centre and state level that did nothing to stop the massacre of Pandits and their forced eviction. The illegal migrants act refers to prevent influx from Bangladesh (primarily, Muslims) in to Assam and other NE states. The influx is so significant to alter demographics in certain areas and they establish their own party (MUF) which won a good number of seats.
As long as the Muslims do not show that they cannot be taken for granted by the politician, as long as they do not widen their horizon and mix freely, we will continue to witness this kind of tamasha.
