That idiot has spoken nonsense and would probably get away with that. he is speaking nonsense.. because Sri Rama does not require to prove his existence to atheists like Karunanidhi. Moreover Karunanidhi is just a leader of hooligans and mobsters that believe in arson, looting and violence to implement their agenda. In tamil nadu there are more temples than any other state, and a lot of people worship hindu deities. And what have these DMK cadres given this country or even tamilnadu? Not even one national leader, entrepreneur, sportsman of merit. Periyar and karunanidhi himself are compulsive womanisers. they are just trying to distract attention. He can be punished under Indian Penal code for hurting religious sentiments. What is his own authority/locus standi to question anything leave alone the existence of Rama ? And I guess people seem to have forgotten that this same chap was stripped and whipped by tamil nadu police some 4 years back ( under aiadmk rule) .. some similar wait awaits him even now

if it were not for leaders like periyar and karunanidhi,the lower castes would still not be allowed into temples. the entire population of lower castes would have become frustrated with hinduism and ould have converted to other religions. periyar and karunanidhi gave shock treatment to hinduism and saved it.

don't narrow down your thinking to just one thing - he saved lower caste people from converting. the conversion rates in tamil nadu are not in any way lower than that of rest of India. what do u say ?? his actions relating to hinduism are akin to what constantine did to christianity long long back. :-)
