Most of the self proclaimed "TRUE" hindus here are insulting the wealth of spirituality and culture India has stood for in the history of mankind.
Ram (Vishnu) is all over the world in every atom don't look for him in stone buried underwater. Please save the sanctimonious "holier than thou" attitude.
Dont you guys realize that India was great as long as we were secure and had other religions among us.
Do not forget that our slide started after the arrival of so called "love thy neighbor" christians from England.
A case has been filed to stop growth on grounds of religious reasons and the government lawyers were stupid to make such an argument to win their case.
But eventually this is not about Hindu, Muslim, Christian, etc. but about what is good for this country.

I dont think you understand what i m saying. Forget the bible, kuran, and anything about religion. When India is at the edge of breaking away from the past 300 and become a great nation again. Dont focus attention on stone.

Oh please, spare us your patronizing sophistry. I'm an atheist, but even I recognize that what Congress is doing is wrong. Next you will tell us that if a neighboring country invades us and steals our land, that we should turn the other cheek because land is just a "shallow obsession by shallow minds" Look, if other religions have the right to protect their holy sites, then show the same standards for Hinduism.

If it is for the development of the country, why the masjids (not the birth place of Allah but just some stones on roads) are not removed from the roads which are needed to be widened...
There cannot be any sort of development at the cost sentimental feelings..
If it so, government should stop the Haj subsidy and start using that fund to feed the hunger of poor children..

Dev Shankar;I fully support your views here. These so called politicians & religious fanatics are trying to take India back to stone age. The government should create awareness in the public about the Sethusamudram project & its benefits. It is surprising that in India how the public is carried away by the religious fanatics propaganda, instead of caring about social security,quality of life & development of Country.

I am an atheist, but I find Dev Sankar's propagandist statements to be hogwash and sophistry. A heritage site like the Ram Sethu should be protected, just like Bodhgaya or Amritsar. Congress defiled the Golden Temple with Operation Bluestar, so why wouldn't it be corrupt enough to attack the Ram Sethu? Congress exists to enlarge its own power by feeding and preying on any vulnerable group within reach of it.

Friend, when are you going to realize that the BJP was in power for 5 years and they did not put a single brick on the babri masjid site. Atal and Advani got to be Ministers. Rajiv Gandhi opened the site back in 1999 to get votes and i n the process politicized the whole things. When r u going to realize that Congress, BJP, and all parties oput there are for their leaders and not for us. At the end of the day, if you are pretending to sleep I cant wake you up.
