India:A Tribute
by Marco Polo on Sep 19, 2007 09:09 AM   Permalink

The video,India:A Tribute, gives a good picture of Indian heritage where Vedas are mentioned as 'mythology depicting reality';the fields in Kurukshetra where the Mahabharat war is believed to have taken place, the invasion of Afghani raiders starting 11th century AD,the cruelty of Mughals and also the golden rule of the Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great, the great Pallava rulers of the South etc are pictured elegantly.

Would be an eye opener to the Pakis posting hate messages in Indian discussion boards, trying to malign Hindus. Also Tamil Anpans and Tamil Azhagans please try to learn how the South Indian kings of the early centuries of the millinneum gave added depth to Hinduism during their rule. They did not have morons like MK in those times to create rifts among people. Each culture lived with pride while preserving their distinctive cultural features.

We still can try that.
