I can agree with some pieces of the article.

We Indians have been neglectful of our history, of our heritage and should set this right by studying the ancient languages Sanskrit, Pali, Tamil etc; and researching our past.
We simply read books written by Englishmen, Germans and just any westerner who has no idea of our culture and has interpreted our past as per his knowledge of HIS world.
It is our fault. Today we are letting a western woman do the same thing together with a Sikh prime minister. We have allowed the arrest of one of those learned and holy men who lead a Hindu organisation that could spend funds and time upon researching our past as well, we have Indian companies and organisations that give money abroad for causes that are not ours, for small show of charity, but we do not demand they spend their money to better our society here in India. We ourselves are indifferent to educating our children in history, spirituality. There are Muslim schools teaching Koran, Christian missionaries and church orgs teaching bible classes, but Hinduism is not taught or discussed in India! It is churned out to create political chaos and divide the populations for political profit regardless of the damage it does to the people.
Unless we Indians learn about our culture and help it grow, we will be forever ignorant and at the mercy of men who confidently rule us from outside putting in print any old rubbish that becomes the truth and is accepted as such even by we who know better.
