imran and other fellows of same thinking, see the world ESPECIALLY INDIA with open mind. I believe u r young and IT IS THE GLASSES which some people sometime put on their eyes and they just see the colour they already selected(glases). Read good books and try to respect all religion.

We have a saying

SATYAMEVA JAYTE, so u cant deny TRUTH.

i AGREE with you on respecting all religions. I do NOT want religion to be a part of government. Be it in India or in any MUSLIM country.

Iluvtaj,

I am a Constitutionalist. If our country was named as Hind or Hindustan, then I would have gladly said it. But Hind/Hindustan refers to the greater India under British rule and prior including Pakistan, Bangladesh and other territories that are NOT part of modern day India.

The constitution say India or Bharat. I believe it is wrong to say Jai Hind. I know people have been doing this for ages. But after 1947, the term Hind/Hindustan has no significance.

I also saw people refer India as "MATA". I am NOT a Nationalist BUT a Constitutionalist. I respect the LAW of the land I live in, but I do not consider myself superior just because I am from India. If we do that, we are being racist in a way. Please say that this land feeds us. You and I both know the influence of Globalization. We get food produce from all over the world now. The concept of MATA is Nationalistic and NOT constitutional.

People need to realize that difference.

As per constitution , State and relgion should be separate.

Why is then govt interfering with management of Hindu temples?

Why do govt leaders promote atheism in official posts?

Answer that first.
