National security at risk if canal is not built
by Anurag Shrivastava on Sep 14, 2007 01:24 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

In case of a war - ships will take 24 hours more to move from Vizag. In fact - the dredging should be deep enough to allow INS Virat to go through.

Once again - the religious guys have played into the hands of enemy. Last time it was at Kargil and Kandahar.

Watch the debates going on in TV channels (including the anti-Hindu NDTV) and newspapers.

Environmentalists as well as our military experts repeatedly opposed the Sethusamudram project.

Wake up and go get some sense!!!

Which military expert has opposed this ? And lets not talk about rent-an-environmentalist characters like Bittu Sehgal , Vandana Shiva and neo-cons like the turncoat Subramanian Swami. The same environmentalists were enemies of Gujarat when they opposed the Sardar Sarovar Dam

Anurag,

Yes the canal should be built and no one is arguing with that here. How can a government ruling a country with 85% hindu's question the existence of god rama. You look to either not understand what people are discussing here or you are a muslim with hindu name. Come out with your real identity.

Oh' - only people like you will act against National security. We are Indians here first - not Hindus, not Muslims , not Christians - these are secondary identities.

I hold no brief for the government because of the tactlessness with which this issue was handled. They have given BJP and unemployed characters one more issue to come to streets.

Congress and BJP leaders have the same policy, betray their cadres and supporters for George Bush.

Crores of arms deal; alliance to attack on Iran; CPI(M) opposes it. Now Congress partymen speaks as RSS cadre that the Left is anti-national.
