Is progress required on the cost of Ethos and belief?
by TheThinkingHindu on Sep 14, 2007 01:10 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

All,

Do you think China will destroy wall of China, if they have to build a Highway across it? Nope. But in India you can do that, specially when it comes to Hindu sentiments. BTW you must have seen lots of Majaars, in middle of the road. Their is one in every city and govt can't destroy that, you know why.
Coming to the other point, it will destroy the ecological balance, destroying lots of Sea property, but who cares in India, look at the Mumbai real state development.
Finally, if Government is little thoughtful, they can come up with a solution like Panama Canal or better, but who cares, that requires technology and thinking. Where our current government don't want to spend time.
