I feel govt. should go ahead with the construction and take cares that ram sethu is not damage but instead it should be build up in such a way that it becomes not just a pilgrimage but as a one of the historical tourist spot

Absolutely - we can make it a tourist and pilgrimage spot and earn a lot of money from NRI suckers.

talking about tourist and pilgrimage place, one of my friends recently visited an old fort somewhere near Shimoga in karnataka. It has been so well taken care of, that it is being used by locals to defecate, and by 'tourists' to answer nature's call. Of course I am not talking about foreign tourists here.
