Hinduism encourages questionign in spiritual matters and nothing is taken for granted. A Hindu is welcome to question everything Hinduism teaches. That is teh difference between itself and Christainity and Islam. Church used to burn heretics alive while Islam kills those who question existence of Allah.
That is why Hinduism is so tolerant and enlightened. It is the religion for all humanity.

Hinduism is tolerant. yes cent percent correct. But tolerance was the resultant of disintegrity.

if muslims question their belief they become slaman rushdie and taslima nasreen.
if chistians question, some bloody mary comes up.
but when hindus question their beliefs they become budha, mahavir, guru nanak ...
hindu is a scientific and evolutionary religion, open for discussion and changes, without prejudice, unlike other religions.

Well said. To all the hindu brethren, Take this as challenge, Unite all Hindus, I will re-convert. If not please convert, as my fore fathers have tried and chose the alternative. To unite you have to sacrifice your pseudo status given by the caste. But sacrifice is found in abundaance in the scriptures having traces to Abraham, He himself ready to sacrifice his son. Abimanyu is there in our scriptures, But in my state 80 percent of the rural folk belongin to BC s and SC s do not know who he is. Then when to unite, and how to protect our ancestoral heritage???

Do not be fooled by the names. There converts to Christianity and Islam who are still using the Hindu names and are abusing the Hinduism.
