Thats well said. There should be collective effort. I dont find anything catering to poor-upper caste boys and girls who sometimes dont even have next time meal. I have encountered such a situation myself.

Dear Indian, It is one of the BEST messages I have ever gone thro in these columns. Really it wud be great if people follow wise thinking person like you. Incidentally, my wife and me contribute to a home for orphan girls, and have mobilised 17 couples (friends & relatives) so far to do the same for last 3 years. We never donate in Hundis though we visit temples. Thanks and Keep it up. You Are A True INDIAN.

A sane and beneficial suggestion to uplift the poorest of poor Hidus neglected in their own country and by the Govt elected by them.Pl put in place a mechanism to deliver the funds to the deserving and things are bound to happen.

Excellent idea; but we need a trustworthy organisation to channelise the funds to deserving schools / individuals / associations. Though much of the Money from Tirupathi goes in the hands of unscrupulous elements, still they are able to reach for essential services such as Education / Medical services etc. I am surprised that you are calling yourself as an Indian, whereas in India, we do not have a single of them as they are all now branded into different communities such as SCs / STs / OBCs, et al.
