The environment is the most important factor here. If the project has detrimental effects on environment then it should be stopped.

The religious sentiments should be kept aside in few occassions and environment is one of those.

No Ram, Rahim or Jesus or anyone else will come to save us if another Tsunami comes in. It is us who can save ourselves or at least try to do so.

Any project touching nature is detrimental for the environment. This is a big mess that will be realised in the next few decades.
