Why are we fighting?
by padmanathan naidu on Sep 13, 2007 05:15 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is for me is not the real thing, we have diverted our min aim itself. The sethu samudram project which reduces the traffic time and saves lots of fuel for the shipping & the counrty.
Do we need to go with the project, i will say yes, for the economic prosperity of the country.
Lord Rama is a purusotham, we need to live on his sayings. Rather than doing that, we hurt people, prosperity and crime against humanity. But still we worship him.. it is of no-use.
Ramayana teachs us to have courage to take on the evil, we need to take that idea and implement in our lives rather than fighting for it.

Let the sethusamudram project completed like delhi-metro, see how many people get employment and economic prosperity.

But we also need to look on environment concern, if it is not viable due to environmental issue then it shoud be dropped. Because we are responsible for the future of this planet.

Hope my voice will find a way at least few peoples heart.

Hi Padmanabhan
The point is, why should the goverment bent on going ahead with this specific route for the project, when thre are around 5 better options, that are available without destroying the ancient structure/sethu bridge?

So there is no opposition to the construction of the bridge, only for the route that is being proposed which will blow up this structure.

For that matter only during the previous goverment, this project was signed off, but with a different route.

So, do remember that as such BJP or any one is not against this project, only the route thats being proposed.

And, no point in raising questions like whether Ram existed etc. That is beyond argument, similar to asking about existance of god.

Can anyone question the validity/existance of Gods of other religions? They will not because they r aware of the reactions. Just becoz Hindus are peace loving, that should not be exploited.
