Govt to withdrw affidavit on Lord Rama
by Bodh Ramdeo on Sep 13, 2007 07:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

And when did govt have the authoruty to issue an affidavit onLord Rama's existence inthe first place?

In any case, everyone knows MMS is just a kow-towing proxy-PM, the errand-boy of Sonia G, who's nt just his 'Boss' but that of the UPA, and of this nation.

But the big question must be: under what constitutional authority is a govt minister directly answerable to someone who's not a member of the govt or cabinet? Yes, she's chairperson of UPA which controls the govt, but her's is only a political title not an official 'govt' title, so is this still the ole Communist system, where the party is the govt, and the govt is the party?

It would seem so, judging from the fact that not just govt ministers but even public servants, including the ASG, are also directly answerable to her and must follow her dictates - under what constitutional basis?
