have you seen the Crime rate in Bihar ? 9 Murders @1 day . if this happens in whatever city you stay what will you do , if there is no big support of the Law ?? ppls will come together right to save themselves , that is what you have seen .. It is not the Breaking of any law . It is to show law that they are not doing any work .If this is shown to the ppls staying in cities , they will say to punish those ppls who killed the thives. But have any body seen the situation over there. The things are atleast improving in that state , since great nitish kumar came in .

If this is the way the theft and anti social elements be controlled , let it be. The people who were killed were not innocent. Might be the punishment given to them was extreme.
But what do you expect, when people have to wake throughout the night keeping a vigil on their prpoerty? Don't they have the right to sleep peacefully.
For an example you see people killed by Blue line buses in Delhi daily. But you rarely hear it at Kolkatta. This is for the simple reason that if a bus kills a commuter at kolkata the mob put the bus on fire and if the driver is caught, he is beaten to death. Following this the drivers at Kolkatta are very careful that they dont kill anyone even by mistake. BUt in delhi nobody cares. If at all the driver is punished, that will be for a maximum of 6 months for negligent driving.
The above might be harsh but it seems logical for the people who dont learn and keep on repeating their mistakes.
