Babri Majid build on the ruins of a temple. Let us leave it as we can not keep on correcting the past. But, why 'Ram Sethu' can not be considered as the property of the nation and left as it is. Alternates for the project also pointed out.

Imran, if Allah or Jesus doesnt exist why do the mosques exist? They are built on land which can be used for other purposes. Tear them down right now. Btw jesus and mohammed didnt exist either.
1. Ramayana accurately traces the path of Rama from Ayodhya to Sri Lanka. It mentions about the places where he stopped on the way and all of them exist even today. Its impossible for someone to make up these places at a time when maps didnt exist.
2. Imagine this, for hundreds for years Hindus have been hearing about Rama building a Setu on the sea when none apparently existed. Suddenly satellite imagery discovers it exists exactly at the same place and position it was believed to exist. Is it a mere co-incidence? What are the chances of this happening?
3. Ramayana mentions about the Vanaras who have a face of an ape and are bipedal (walk on two feet). For many years the remains of what scientists call "Pre-historic man" have been found. Doesnt anyone see the similarities between the pre-historic man and vanaras?
4. If the archealogists are looking for clothes, pots etc used by Rama or something written by him, that won't happen. Rama existed in the Treta yuga which was millions of years ago.

Imran, the answer is simple.
The eitire Indian sub-continent was occupied by Hindus till the Mughal invaders (and Britishers) came and converted your ancestors. Ram temple was destroyed and converted to a Baabri Masjid. So was Krishna temple in Mathura.
The current LEGAL system which you are referring to was not established when the Mughals invaded India. Not that the plundering Mughals would have cared if it existed. Jizia tax for Hindus is a fact not fiction. What legal system did they follow ?
Your ancestors who were forcefully converted and burried instead of burnt must be cying in their graves. And dont curse them since your very existance is because of them. All the genetic and physical features of Indian Muslims are local and not Arabic. Scientifically speaking, it takes more than 10,000 years for such features to coincide the local geography.
