Not suprising at all, first the brahmins were targeted, now all the brahmins are beggars/street sweepers/rickshaw pullers, next attack the religion itself, throw the mass into confusion, next and most important, present the most populous faith to the nation as a way out of the crisis.
In about 50 yrs,80% of indian hindus will belong to the major religion (islam/christianity).
Nothing can be done( if it was, this would not have happened), have a beer, eat chicken biryani, go out to a club and chill out !!! ;)
It's not just the Brahmins and their religion that are under attack. Every rigid, unchanging, regressive idea, institution and group will either be under attack or be by-passed like the flyover that by-passess unchanging Mohd Ali Road. And no, I don't think your religion is going to give way to Islam or Christianity. I think it will give way to free-thinking and progress. So if your religion is under attack and can't survive, tough luck. Better ideas are bound to replace your religion's regressive ideas. You should support such better ideas and welcome the progress that often comes with change. Alternatively, you can hang on to ancient myths and legends and watch as you and your religion get by-passed by progress.
