I've been reading all these posts. I do not subscribe to any religion. But what I and all the others notice here is that the Hindus appear the most insecure of the lot. No wonder India was successively ruled by invaders. Hindus are insecure of muslims gaining more population coz they multiply fast. Hindus seem insecure of Xtian conversions. Why is it so? If Hinduism is as strong and true religion as we claim, why are we only seen in India and nowhere else? Why do we seem so scared and insecure? Why are so many ppl converting to Islam and Xtiany everyday, and very few the other way?

India was ruled by invaders almosr 1000 years it is afact, just look at any islamic nation, what happened to the minorities, in those countires? christian conversion, look as nagaladn in our ocuntry, the christians are fighting for "nagaland for christ", you can see Hinduism all over the world, looks like the intelligent one never been outta India, but note this we are not predatory religion like 'abrhamic ones"...xianity and islam have lot of resources behid them, they believe they have order fromt heir gods to convert whole humanity in tho their religions...

Since you do not subscribe to any religion, naturally you care two hoots if people are converted through inducements. People definitely do not convert to Christianity becuase it is egalitarian religion. The missionaries are funded liberally and they go around flashing the cash asking people to become Christians in return for the cash. We saw this in TN in the aftermath of the tsunami in 2004, when Christian missionaries poured into the area like vultures circling the dead, offering cash and other inducements like boats to the people in return for their becoming Christians. 'Secularists' like you and those in the Press did not utter a word about all this. Everyday we see thousands of beggars on the streets. Do any Christian organisations bother about them? Talk is very easy, but please think before you write such comments. Please remember that Hindu ideas and thougts are much older than the Western ideas and today, it is better appreciated in the West than here, where it is a fashion to run it down at every available opprotunity just to proclaim your 'secular' and 'liberal' status. As for yoour comment on insecurity, if people are treated as equal, then there would be no insecurity. Here, if you are Christian and Muslim, you are treated with kid gloves and if not, the full force of the'law' and 'justice' is upon you.

Because other religions are aggressive, expanist and imperial religions. Being a pacificist religion, Hinduism has to defend itself. Do you keep you door open and go to sleep in the night?
Besides why do you think the pother religions are secure. Both Christians and Muslims have been constantly whipping up frenzy by declaring holy wars for thousands of years.
Do you understand the simple realties of this world?
