Take a consistent stand
by vijayraghav on Sep 12, 2007 04:08 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The problem is politicians, bureaucrats, pseudos , communists get away taking inconsistent stances..

the Government of India ( and it means all those that are party to this government ) has now agreed before the supreme court that they do not believe in the existence of Rama or the sethu.. but then will they be willing to live with the consequences of such belief thruout their lives ?

They should not call themselves hindus nor interfere in the affairs of hindus. Nor claim votes of hindus..

they should not ever visit any temple nor participate in any hindu ritual

Never should they ever fall back on rama or quote any tenet from the Ramayana.( or even criticise )

They should desist out of interfering in the lives of believers and stop making laws for hindus ( as they themselves are not hindus .. for the onewho does not believe in Rama cannot be a Hindu; and the one who is not a hindu cannot interfere into the affairs of hindus )

Be an atheist, be a communist, be an agnostic, be a muslim.. by all means.. but never call oneself a hindu.. that is what I would like to tell these spineless louts ( politicians , government officers, communists ) .. None should live out of the money that comes into the hindu temples .. If they do not believe in Rama, then how dare they live out of the monies that comes into hindu temples ? or even administer them ? on what basis ? on what rational ?

Now would they be willing to do that ? No.. and they get away with that becau

because we hindus are a pathetically disjointed and disunited lot.. we are complascent and not as charged up as we should be about these issues..

I am seeing numerous articles being written against the centres affidavit, but then is anything substantive going to come out of all this ?

If we hindus have any sense of shame or spine, we should never vote for congress nor any of the parties that are part of the unholy UPA ( communists, bsp, dmk , jd and so on) ..and if we are not able to stop the congress or UPA , then we deserve our fate..

It is time to call their bluff.. ONe cannot take inconsistent stands.. either be a believer or be a non believer and live out the consequences that come out of that.

I agree... vijay u r right....unless n untill hindus get united, rise above castlines and fight for their motherland these pseudo-secularist will continue to hurt hindu sentiments. Hinds are the most secular, peace loving and accomodating society ( read religion) in the world and we r time and again making victim for thi...this is high time tht we shd get united else i m afraid next 40 or 50 years are going to wipe out hindus from the world scenerio... pakistan is a very good example of this...at the time of partition app. 1 crore hidus were there and now only 20 lacs are left ...n muslims in india has grown manifolds... no govt machinary is dare to touch muslims watever the do.... law enforcing agencies r afraid of muslim dominated areas. there r clear cut exampls even if they dont pay their taxes, electricity or water bills ..no body can force them to live in a civilized manner...

jago mere bhaio jaago....

Very True vijahraghav... i second your opinion...

I think it is time for a revolution in India... followers of the hindu way of life should unite and revolt against the so-called pseudo atheists and logical thinkers... they are the real bane of society...

"They should not call themselves hindus"

Who are Hindus? RSS says Hinduism is a culture. And dat culture doesn't demands you to believe in Ram or any other person. If so, then there are millions of Hindu in the South and else part of India which does not worship Ram. So what you will call them?

You are right hans solo... the vedic dharma does not impose on anybody... rather it suggests paths according to the human nature, the logical thinker, the devout and the mystic... it is a dynamic philosophy which recognises the diversity of human mind and hence is flexible enough... that is why there are so many gods and godesses in the vedic dharma...

atheists are in existence since time immemorial... that does not prove or disprove anything...

HERE, WE ARE DISCUSSING ABOUT THE CORE BELIEFS OF THE SUPREME RELIGION - THE VEDIC RELIGION, OR THE SANATANA DHARMA OR HINDUISM... and hence if you do not have a proper understanding of the same... request you not to post anything...

Hinduism/Vedic culture, is one which evolved itself over a period of time.... unlike christianity/islam/buddhism... in which there is a "middleman" who is regarded as a link between mand and god!!!
