Respect Relegious Sentiments - Faruk
by on Sep 12, 2007 10:58 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I feel such researches will distance Indian brothers from one another. We already have enough issues. Please don't bring a new issue.Certain incidents and aspects in every relegion cannot be proved but only can be believed. This research must hurt our Hindu brothers deep and I wish Islamic and Christian brothers to stand by them. Religion is faith and I request so called genius people to stop hurting others faith. You can't prove immaculate conception and so is Prophet Muhammad's ascending of heaven. We believe in our respective religions and hold it to be true without disturbing anybody.

i stand by my indian brothers in supporting them against the evil that cause harm to anybody's religion may it be hinduism, islam christianity, politicians should concentrate only on politics and leave the religious issues to be dealt by their respective religious heads

Respect religion? How about some respect for the truth???! All these stories are nothing but highlighting some philosophical principles and idiots are actually fighting about the characters of the story!!!

Do you really believe a bunch of flying monkeys build a bridge and fought hellish creatures???!

Dear Pankaj, I believe your mother must be an angel to me and so is my mother to me. All I request as a fellow human being from you is not ask proof about my claim. I respect your rational thinking and so I respect the faith of others and mine. isn't there enough space in this world to live with our faiths peacefully? Why are we so much excited in proving the other faith to be wrong? If you don't believe monkeys cannot build a bridge - no problem, don't go to a temple or a mosque or a church but help your believing brother go there and exercise his faith in non-threatning ways to others.

Pankaj it applies to all religions. What is a matter of faith cannot be an item of research. This holds good for Hinduism as it does for Islam and Christianity.

Well said Faruk. As for Dipak Daga, no one thought that man would land on the moon 100 years ago, they thought Galileo was stupid and evil. I'm not implying that a bunch of monkeys did fly there, but a bunch of men did land on the moon. So if you can make the co-relation then go ahead. Its all about faith, if that makes any sense to you. Rational thoughts would have stopped man from landing on the moon, but all of those men were following christians, not athiests.
