Hinduism is not sustained by stories. Stories simply support ideals & morals. The fact of Ram is less important than the character of Ram which shaped Indian families and character for centuries . On the other hand believing in hocus pocus of Adam & Eve, revelations and primitive political systems like the Shariat which passes off as divinely inspired is what takes humankind to the dark ages. Man must be released from the Semitic religions.

why you people cry when some one asks you to show proof of your god.
when you can not prove it that means it is a false faith.Leave that false faith.
religion should be very scientific like ours. No one will ask us to prove. your courts, politicians, intellectuals know ours is most advanced and scientific religion.

to besssmilla,
you are trying to compare Ramayan with islam and christianity, LOL
Ramayana is a Ithihasa, a great composition by great minds, but it did based on real story of a man named Rama who raised to be a GOD by living the righteous way...
real Hinduism is in Veda , it is in enlightenmnet, it is in AUM...
ithihasa's are the way to teach the commoners the Dhrama...
