Issue is the Setu not Lord Ram
by Patnaik Consultancy BBSR on Sep 19, 2007 11:15 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is the old story of four blind men making their own observation of the elaphant's legs.Lord Ram is a character in Hindu mythology and has tremendous influence on shaping the moral of generations including the Great Mahatma.Any one questioning his historical presence questions the very tenets of Hindusim which is also a faith for thge believer. When the great saints have been guided by his grace we are nobody to dispute him.But if somebody does not believe it is his business. No one is a better Hindu as non of us follow his idologies.Least of all the BJP or for that matter any political party who are just as well casteless crepes. The question is whether the tunnel has to be built accross the Sethu built by Ram.Considering the economic reasons- let that be thooughly analysed for the pros and cons- the decision has to be taken.Ram would not have disapproved such a venture if that would help the countrymen irrespective of religion, caste and creed.

I agree if it was in Ram's time but now it is a most valuable structure for all Hindus in terms of respect and sanctity. And more study has to be done on Ram sethu to support that it was build by Ram.As you cant destroy your own family for 'economic reasons',similarly you cant destroy the ancient structure-Rama Setu-which has a binding to INDIAN TRADITION AND CULTURE.And everything you cant link to business and economics.
