Existence of RAM - Why do Courts need the Proof?
by Murali Mohan on Sep 12, 2007 04:00 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

On what basis courts need the proof of existence of RAM?

If the court can honour the Holy book "Bhagwat Gita" and ask the people to take oath on that book, then RAM is one of the incarnations mentioned in that Holi Book. Why do they need to establish the evidence now?

Is our Supreme court becoming silly day by day? Now the time to establish the competency and sensibility of the supreme court judges and the benches and all together the Supreme court has come.

This is becoming a political discussion here. But it is not. It is not a political matter. No government can establish the evidence of God or his existence. On the other hand they can not establish the evidence of non existence of God as well.

It is the foolish ness of the court to ask for the evidence. The government should in reply state that "It could not get hold of the evidence to establish the exitence." Rather than concluding that there is no evidence. Who knows whether there is any evidence or not. As on date and as on the persons assigned the job, could not get hold of it.

On the other hand, the government could have said that the same belief and respect that the court is giving to the GITA led to the conclusion that there was RAM and his existence in that particular period at that particular place.

COURTS - ACT Sensibly.

GOVERNMENTS - Answer wisely.

They may ban Bhagwat Gita too in the courts , (hurting minority religious sentiments).

You are right. This is all unnecessary drama. every knows what the fact is? but we are not used to come on to roads and kill some one who is against our beliefs. That's why any one can say any thing to our Gods.
