a democratic india will not survive. vast majority of people think democracy is an utopia ensured by mere elections. that simply is not so. democracy is a participatory system which demands way more than voting for somebody every so often. democracy is resposnibility of the people on a ggreater scale than that of its govt. the role of media as 4th estate is no longer useful as media is just another business, not intended to inform so much as to make money.
democracy is for the people who value freedom to the point that they can be eternally vigilant. which in turn requires a lot resources which india simply doe snot have. in india people must remain busy trying to make ends meet, hardly a situation conducive to vigilance.
by contrast india, essentially a hindu pagan/kafir country has highly entrenched enemies who have the most fundmantal problem with idol worshipping. xtians believe idol worshippers are immoral people who belong in hell. however, the spiritual soundness of idolators presents a huge challenge to them because xtianity is pretty skimpy on spirituality and hence it is impossible for xtianity to retain its flock should they get educated about hinud spirituality. and hence hinduism presents a huge challnege to xtain society. mohamadans have even a bigger problem with idolatory. their cruelness is well known, and there are many mommedan countries that outright discriminate against hindus.

Please be aware of Indian Penal Code , IPC Section 153 B as below
153-B. IMPUTATIONS, ASSERTIONS PREJUDICIAL TO NATIONAL INTEGRATION.(1) Whoever, by words either spoken or written or by signs or by visible representations or otherwise, -(a) makes or publishes any imputation that any class of persons cannot, by reason of their being members of any religious, racial, language or regional group or caste or community, bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established or uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India, or(b) asserts, consents, advises, propagates or publishes that any class of persons shall, by reason of their being members of any religious, racial, language or regional group or caste or community, be denied or deprived of their rights as citizens of India, or(c) makes or publishes any assertion, counsel, plea or appeal concerning the obligation of any class of persons, by reason of their being members of any religious, racial, language or regional group or caste or community, and such assertion, counsel, plea or appeal causes or is likely to cause disharmony or feelings of enmity or hatred or ill-will between such members and other persons,shall be punished with imprisonment which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.(2) Whoever commits an offence specified in sub-section (1), in any place of worship or in any assembly engaged in the performance of religious worship or religious ceremonies, shall be punished with

a hindu democratic india is ripe for picking by india's enemy when the enemy is backed by enormous fianncial froeign supplied resources and its numbers are large enough to form a decisive swing voting block, a condition india finds itself in now.
india needs a chakraborty maharaj who will do the right thing.
