He steadfastly refused to allow the miliatry to acquire desperatley neede arms and munitions. And the Communist Party of India was officially against India protecting herself from Chinese aggression, forcing even Nehru to put the traitors like Basu in jail. Main Point, Nehru refused to allow Indian Airforce to provide Reinforcement for our brave Jawans. The Indian Airforce at that time was more powerful than the chinese airforce and would have made short work of the invaders. This Nehru was the worst curse on the Indian Nation. A Masochistic personality who liked India to suffer humiliation after humiliation.
