I think opposition should quit parliament as it did during last year of Rajiv Gandhi's rule.Ruling party and Left parties are playing role of both government and opposition and have littel or no regards for other parties. Speaker is also not fair. His hate for BJP is too much and he just can not see any reason and blindly supports ruling party. Why discussion can not take under a rule that requires voting. If govt. do not get full support of all memebers in parliament then the issue of nuclear deal must end there itself.I think in parliament only those bills or agreement should be valid which can be ratified by it by majority. That is true democracy. If a particular bill can not be passed in parliament how good it may be it only means that country is not ready for it.

under the constitution, there is no need for the government to seek ratification by parliament. if u r living in india and have a little education u will understand that. if u r from some other country, please read about our constitution before commenting.

Well.. the intellectual ability of Members of parliament is questionable. Most of them cant even read English. How can you expect them to make the right decision? remember this is the same set of people who kicked out Kalam from the presidency. I am personally against the deal though.

intellect has nothing to do with politics.it never is elsewhere otherwise socrates would be a greek emperor and stalin would play opera in russian symphony. As of Kalam no one talks about the fate of Nag,Trishul and Aakash missiles.Afterall you don't ask missileman too many questions, otherwise there is only one answer!

intellect is not neede,a legal background is needed, which many of our politicians have. the government selects the best brains to handle matters as is necessary.

on what basis do u question the intellectual ability? what made u think that kalam was kicked out? i think he had a decent last few days. some people thought that kalam was a superman and the country could not get through without him, those people might also be thinking that he got kicked out. kalam s record in office was blemished by a few amateurish decisions.

Understand the poltical system of India too you Mr. Dinesh. Please READ THE NEWSPAPERS DAILY , NOT OCCASONALY.
Can u tell who has demanded the so-called ratification?
And what do you think this nuclear deal is internal matter of congress and communist so that they are forming a committee and discussing and deciding the future of India? As u claimed to understand constitution better , can you explain who is Supreme , Parliament or party. And in this ongoing matter, Party (Both Cong and Commu) seems to outwit the Parliament.
Donot sit idle, Standup and say that This Nuclear deal is not a Ghar KA Mamla of Cong and communist. It is matter which must be bring to parliament.

abhishek singhvi has made it clear that if the bjp wishes to join the committee,it can also join the UPA. it is a mechanism formulated by the UPA and its supporters. the prime minister has made enough statements in the lok sabha to clarify matters. there is no requirement to seek parliamentary approval. it is the prerogative of the prime minister to make treaties. what does the bjp want by asking for a vote?

That is why we are asking for amendment in the Constitution. Congress is telling that it is not possible. We have amended over constitution number of times and the arguement is simply not digestable. So, if we have to safeguard our soverginity and integrity and for that if we wants to amend our constitution, it is our right. Nobody can make any protests or rights on this issue.

Dear learned memebers, we should not emulate our distinguished Parliamentarians's behavior in the discussion related to National interest. At least the we ,common men should rise above our party affliation be it BJP, Cong or Laft and think objectively. though I have beee a BJP loyalist for a long time, but I strongly disaapove of its behaviour in and outside the Parliament. It is bahaving like a maniac who has been dethroned. I have been disenchanted with it and I am sure many right thinking supporters of BJP would agree with me.
