Why there is no fatwa against Jehadis?
by Ram Sharma on Sep 02, 2007 09:16 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

why moulavis do not issue fatwa against jehadis? muslim organisations in uk & usa vigorously denounce terrorist acts of jehadis. in india we do not see this happening. even so called intellectuals and pseudo secularists keep mum. all these people shout at the top of their voice only against hindu organisations now & then.

There are no instances of mosque demolitions or genocides committed in UK & US unlike in India (Babri Masjid demolition, massacres of thousands of Muslims in Mumbai and Gujarat, continuing atrocities on minorities - the perpetrators of these crimes going scotfree). That is the reason why even moderates do not have a voice against Jehadis. Jehadis are gaining ground rapidly in India in almost every city today because they have good justification for their idealogy and actions.
