Reopening of cases in Gujarat

Reopening of cases in Gujarat
Five years after the Gujarat violence, there has been very little or slow progress on the related cases both within the state of Gujarat and in the Supreme Court. Expectations that justice would be delivered through court action after the reopening and reinvestigation of cases have now been confounded in the overwhelming majority of criminal cases being heard in Gujarat.

In August 2004, following a Supreme Court inquiry,(5) the Government of Gujarat was forced to order the reopening of 1,594 cases which had earlier been closed by the state police. In the majority of cases the police had originally closed the cases after finding them to be "true but undetected."(6) In addition, the state government was then forced to announce that it would initiate departmental inquiries against 41 police officers for failing to investigate these cases adequately.

That is what is expected in our country. There will be cases after cases, breaking news and continuous harassment if any Hindu group resorts to violence.

Where as the government, pseudo intellectuals, media and of course muslim organizations make a big hue and cry if any Islamic terrorist is caught and convicted.

MLAs of MIM attack Taslima Nasri-declare that their loyalty is with Islam but not witht he Constitution and get away with it.

Abdul Madani-accused in bomb blast gets a royal treatment in jail Two governments over work to dilute the case against him and secure his release-becuase he can influence Muslim votes in Kerala and Tamilnadu.

Governemnt of Andhra Pradesh goes to the extent of issuing a GO to free the Islamic terrorists arresetd by the police and subsequently dilutes anti terrorist squad under the pressure from MIM.

Media and pseudo intellectuals are not worried about the brutal killing of passengers of sabarmati express by islamic terrorists, rather they want to twist the facts and put blame on Hindus.
Muslims have destroyed thousands of temples in India, Pakisthan & Bangladesh. They have destroyed giant budha statues in Afghanisthan. BUt our pseudo secular media and intellectuals continue to sing only Babri Masjid song.

Emperoros mail on reopening cases in Gujarat can be added to this list.

Emperor is a crusder.
He is barking along as if to protect muslims for his own protection as he dont have a 13% vote bank.

He needs connivance of Indians in his conversion activities. He and his chruch has claimed that it is their democratic right to convert the whole India and tarnish every other faith. They dont target Islam just because death is the penalty. Once they become more than 40% in any country, they will use armed forces to do dirty work against mullas and mullas will use jihadis.

One thing I am glad to god. He created jihadis and cruasders in pair. Note that most USA people are not so religious, they are pragmatic and respect individual freedom even against religious fanaticism.

families were living there not by choice but because they were too frightened to return to their original place of habitation;
· even in these colonies, there was an air of insecurity and hostility from state agencies including the police;
· some of the residents of these colonies were witnesses in some of the key cases relating to the Gujarat violence.
The NCM report went on to assert that:

· the Gujarat government had failed to provide a safe environment for these people or facilitate their return to their homes;
· there has been no support from the state to compensate them for their loss of habitual place of residence.

During its visit to the state in October 2006, the NCM raised the issue of compensation (an amount of Rs. 19.10 crores [approximately $4,3million]) which the Government of Gujarat had returned to the Government of India on the grounds that there were no unfinished tasks of rehabilitation arising from the communal violence. Human rights activists and the NCM have highlighted that their observations in visits to the "relief colonies" very much contradict the state government%u2019s assessment.
