This Nuclear Deal should not come through. I have nothing against India's sudden friendship with America, but It's Nuclear Power I am against. Does anyone who is supporting this deal know what to do with used Nuclear waste when we are done with producing Nuclear Power? Nuclear waste is radioactive for approximately 25000 years and has to be buried deep inside the earth for more than 100000 years for it to become completely harmless. Do you know what can happen if an earthquake were to break open the concrete tunnels in which Nuclear waste is buried in the ground? We would be left with generations of physically and mentally deformed babies and rampant cancer. For information about Nuclear waster, please read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_waste
For information on what radioactivity can do to human life, please read this article: http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/asiapcf/08/30/btsc.chance.nukes/index.html
Is this what we want to leave our future generations? In the mad race to befome a super power, let's not create a dangerous future for our generations to come. Say NO to Nuclear Power, even for peaceful purposes. We already have enough Nuclear sites to take care of our security needs and we don't need any more of this devil's technology. Anything that can deform an unborn human life is against humanity and it is in our nation's interest that we do not subscribe to these inhuman ideas of our politicians. Let's all say NO to Nuclear Power.

You got to learn how to handle Nuclear waste. It is part of the game. Any way Radioactive stuff is lying scatterred on Earth and we have concentrated it in Reactor, got the Heat out, converted to electricity.
If you are so much scared of Hazards than one day an Earth quake can come and you may die in your house. SO Go back to Jungle and live with Jungle elements.

Foolishness has a limit. Radioactive stuff when in it's ore form is hardly radioactive enough to harm man. It's ony when it is refined and concentrated that it becomes radioactive enough to harm humankind. If only we spend one hundredth of the money we will spend on nuclear power plants, we can increase the distribution efficiency of our existing power lines and this would almost increase power delivered to consumers by one third. Also, countries like France which were predominantly Nuclear powered, are pulling out of it and looking for other forms of generating power. Yes, we Indians have this habit of going for anything which the developed world has scrapped. And did any of you know that none of our Nuclear Power Plants are running profitably? I can say this with confidence, having spent a good part of my life woking on systems which included Nuclear power generation.
