I can't understand why US is putting so much pressure on India to sign the deal. The PM has already said that we are looking for a consensus on this issue. All other parties except Congress is opposing the deal. The statements from US authorities clearly makes doubts in the minds of common man whether this deal is for India or for US.
arrre ..it is simple to understand that what is USA interest ...
it is very clear that BIG war is near ...may be USA will attack on Iran , pakistan ...or may be China will attack India , pakistan ...so USA will require to use indian soil for WAR steps ..now pakistan soil is becoming hard to stay for USA so it is necessary to find new BASE for USA army in ASIA ...as USA know very well that ONLY INDIA can stop China / pakistan's terrorism ...due to heavy population ...so it becomes easy to play WAR irrespective of heavy no.of deaths in war ... N-deal is having one condition that India must support USA in any situation....so USA will ask Indain army for fighting in Iraq , afganistan etc ...to get attacked my terrorists.
USA is trying hard as presently Sonia is there to help fully.

a.k antony is also supporting USA openly ..see his last week interviews against China.
USA is cristian country so it is easy for them to deal with cristian ppl like SONIA , ANTONY , Ambumani Ramdoss, ambika soni , sheela dikshit ...etc
presently india is in gr8 many dangers , inside and outside ...
It is necessary to remove all those conditions which are affecting india's foregn policy and must keep self away from going in hands of USA. Then ONLY N-DEAL CAN BE Think.

should we not press for the deal just because US will gain for it? We should be more worried about what we gain from it.
There are stupid people who think that it is fine if we loose somethings, but US should not gain anything.

can u explain what we r going to loose if we don't sign the agreement. US is keeping each and every weapons of mass destruction including nuclear weapons and asking all others to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes !!! what kind of logic is this ?

Well USA is not insisting that India should close its Reactors which are producing Material for Nuclear weapon program.
All it is insisting is >> We should not divert any of material imported under this deal to Weapon making facilities.
That means we are free to mine our own uranium and use it for our own weapon program and only Condition is the case when we detonate that device, than US has to think what to do >> Cancel the deal or keep mum.

Akshay Kumar , Your name sounds Hindu. Inorder to intimidate US has to keep Nuclear weapon. Cuz Muslim brothers are working on that. Once those monkeys gets hands on that things will change. That is the simple logic. Dont forget to mention RUssia, China they have plenty of those too. Dont be one sided.
