Listen brother , I dont think a normal human being like you is mature enough to understand the concept of god , so it is baseless to ask or answer such questions. Hinduism teaches humanity, acceptance and symbolizes every spiritual concept. Only Humanity is God and Ram is a symbol of Humanity so he is our God thats it.

If you are a born hindu then please go read some hindu scriptures and you will get your answers. If you are a non-hindu then it will be very difficult for you to understand because your concept of god is very different from our concept of god. "God" for you is a single entity and for us Hindus God is someone who is divine i.e. for hindus its a term for divine people.

They did so because they knew that they could not find more pure land anywhere!! Just like muslim men know that how nice hindu girls are; hygenic, sexy and pure unlike the stinking bad breath muslim girls.
