Are the communist actiing on behalf of China?
by on Oct 30, 2007 09:53 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I am wondering if the China is working behind the scene through the left parties in India to block the Indo US Nuclear co-operation. I believe and sincerely hope this is not true and that the left parties are working in the national interest of India or at worst are playing a political game which has nothing to do with China. ------india unwire . com

Do you know BJP would have supported the deal had Cong taken them on board at the beginning. They are not against the deal they want our nuclear weapons program be not affected by this deal.

selah, First of all keep in mind no country on earth going to give some thing with out any restrictions. US did changed their rules for India and Bush administration came under fire from many democrats as well as Republicans. So they bend rules. NO BALL IS IN OUR COURT. COMMUNIST IS HELPING CHINA. AND BJP IS SELFISH. Thats all.

Dear Selah,
If you read the left's open letter to MP's you can see they want fuel enrichment, reprocessing and heavy water production technologies which no one will give(other than Russia and may be France not sure but may be possible), they are saying duel use sanctions will continue so there is no full civilian nuclear co-operation. Don't the term civilian means only civilian and no dual use? They also claim that we will not get thorium based reactor technology so we have to develop it ourself so no use in n-deal do you think a proven thorium based reactor is in this world? sorry buddy they did not make it quite good, if you take their agenda is India should not get close to USA as it will affect china. Thats all.
