I am wondering if the China is working behind the scene through the left parties in India to block the Indo US Nuclear co-operation. I believe and sincerely hope this is not true and that the left parties are working in the national interest of India or at worst are playing a political game which has nothing to do with China.

I do not know about indian commies , but do know that India cannot agree to comply with FMCT objectives included in NSG agreement . If you do say bye bye to nuke weapons for ever. Something Not in Indias security intrest.

All the nuclear eletricity ever generated will only account for 10 per cent of Indias eletricity. West is selling this deal as a proliferation victory for them , proliferation is a code word for removeing nuclear weapons from India. Give up NUCLEAR WEAPONS ? Only a loony sucking on bribes or crazy will advocate this.

but wheres the issue of giving up nuclear weapons? civilian facilities and military facilities shall be separated. the deal states that US shall only withdraw the materials that it had provided to india in the case of any violation. How does it affect our nuclear armament ?

Example like you have a car with half tank of petrol and you are cut off from ever puting more fuel. When you run out of that half tank thats it. FMCT objective written into NSG agreement takes the nuke fuel out from the weapons as they cannot be replaced. No new weapons can be made without Fissile Material .
