Yes for the past 25 years or so, CPM has developed the state a lot(by closing the industries by their trade unions), now by displacing the farmers from their lands by getting some handsome commission.

What has Mamta done for Bengal in her two terms as Union Minister ? Even Late Gani Khan did a lot of service to bengal as railway Minister.
Mamata has done just Drama nothing else...
