Threat to Governor
by swami pudipeddi on Oct 30, 2007 02:45 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Parties should not have written a letter to the Gov. It is for the Gov. to satisfy himself or not. If it is dissolution of house or imposition of President's rule or allowing Congress to form Gov. the Gov. has a responsibility to send a report urgently and the Union Govt. can immediately despatch some one to any place where the President of India is available and obtain signutre even at unearthly hour. But if it comes to some one else the Gov. can take his own sweet time.
HDD letter is unnecessary. Once the MLAs are available in the requisite strength the role of the Gov. is easy but let us wait and see how he reacts.

this is the mistake of JDs. Dev Gowda wrote to the governor to dissolve the assembly. that is the reason governor not inviting BJP to form the govt. Let Dev Gowda write another letter to the governor informing JDs support and request for BJP to form the govt. May it work
