No oposition in WB
by Tuhin Misra on Oct 29, 2007 05:29 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

People of WB dont have a strong oposition. If you consider the option 1) Mamata Banerjee: She is the only leader. Not corrupted. But is so volatile that she decides everything on her own. she is fighting some time with her own party colleagues (for example Mr.Panja or Subroto Mukherjee). Some time alliance with BJP or Congress. That is the problem for her. Option 2) Congress: If they wins (No chance) They fight each other everyday. If you see the road to airport(Kolkata) Every alternative pillar says either Somen Mitra or Priranjan Dashmounshi Zindabad.
So the people of WB dont have the option to chose any body else. Though I strongly feel they should see and experience other parties in power. Unfortunately there is no party, who can take.In democracy strong oposition is always better.

As WB is way behind compared to other developed states and there is little hope of other parties coming to power, we can ask their nearest Communist ally, China to rule the state for the next 5 years..incase you have forgotten China..
