This episode shows the deficiency of the parlimanentary system of governance. It is OK in UK where only two parties are allowed to contest elections. The problem arises when unlimited number of parties can contest, each getting a few seats.

Multi-party Presidential system is much better.

It is "ghandian" not "ghandian".
