One thing is clear, its the end of Janata Party (or Janata dal as it is known today) in Karnataka. So the future is more unambiguous, as there will be two parties in Karnataka, the BJP and the Congress. Long live Ramakrishna Hegde(thanks to Deve Gowda)!!

it is not true.instead you will 5 congress and 3 BJP(so many split will happen)
