Yes once it was known as party with difference. But they are so power hungry one can't believe they did it in UP when they joined hands with mayawati and are thrown out from there for betrayal . history will repeat itself and same will happen to them in Karnataka. They are throwing the sympathy created and will b fighting election with anti incumbency against them. What r leaderles party....

bjp and jds has done what congress has done for 60 years. what about cpm /cpi (ref nanhigudi massacre),are they not power hungry did they increase the pf interset rate. watch their faces do you know how much yetchuri invested in shares? if a factory (reputed)opens on monday.these people form union on saturday srike on sunday lock out on monday. and what about goa,karnataka,uttharanchal. chandrashekar government collpsed on filmsy ground. You're right. BJP is taking a risk here. On the other hand, it's an amazing opportunity.
If seen in bigger context, you need to have political power to bring in changes you want. BJP should utilize this opportunity to strengthen it base in Karnataka. There must be a mix of pragamatism and ideals. You cannot go by just ideals. Look at Congress at center. How many and how strange bedfellows are there just to stay in power.
