The permanent seat will only get us in trouble and trapped in international problems. It is more important that we focus on economic growth and energy security. Hence the nuclear deal is far more important than the permanent seat.

kshitij tumbde , What it has to do with nations progress. Japan , germany and Italy dont have permenent seat. But they are US allies. They are not crying about it. permanent seat is not going to help our nations economy.
