Who decides which policy to follow and push for ?
by Sincere Citizen on Oct 26, 2007 01:40 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Who in this country has a vision for making startegic policy decisions, NO ONE. Possibly Rajiv Gandhi and Atal Bihari were only two persons with long term strategic vision.
Rajiv was defeated by the Congress sycophants and Atalji was defeated by the stupidity of his party members.

This country needs a visionary who can decide on the long term strategy not only for energy but for defence and everything else.

The political fiasco happening was real bad to see but then even the NRI's(precisely those in America) should stop acting like the N-Deal is some kinda best thing happening to India. Fact that these guys settled abroad indicates that they really dont think much about India.

Being an NRI does not make you less Indian. Remaining in India does not automatically make one a patriot either. Look at the number of corrupt, power hungry, treacherous people that fill the corridors of power in India. Then turn back and look at the NRI's who are trying to bring in new technology, contribute to relief after earthquakes and tsunamis, lobby for India in other countries, bring in investment and overall fight for a better India.
The famous Raj Kapoor song from Shree 420 "mera joota hai japani" is still true for the Indian.
Its the heart that matters.
