What we were doing for 60 years. Govt. has spent enormous money on scientists but they have let us down. To my knowledge, thorium reactor is 3 stage. We just completed stage 1 and it took us 30 years of research. Dr. Kalam agrees lot of research still needed. But he is too optimistic on his time estimate.
