I doubt if ever we have developed a full package or application software without which some other software can't function. We may be coding some lines of code everyday for our companies who in turn sell it as part of a package. In the IT field nothing original has been done from india. Can you give me the name of a language, an application s/w that is platform independent or operating system or database or network protocol or even a browser? No you can't. Beacuase of this we are in the habit of working on languages of Western contries. We are code coolies working for a few biscuits. The Chinese are now almost developed and testing their own Network Protocol and counterpart of Internet. Just try to get in the Chinese web sites. You will feel a whole world of difference. Also, they have got their own Unicode Character set and trying to develop ASCII equalent CHAR Set. Why are we closing our eyes from reality? We do not create wealth. We have slave menatlity form ages. Do we make anything at all except code a few lines like slaves for the West? Do we have a processor, a monitor, a mouse or a keyboard atleast that we have a patent on? Do we have any programming language that is purely indigenous?

You mentioned about biscuits. Dog training & taming can even work on humans. Indians need to see ground realities and yet strive to fix the wrong that our ancestors failed i.e build something very Indian and ward of attempt to break our unity & fraternity with All Indians at all cost. We need intellect to bring back unity because world realities put us in difficult/deprived position today. We don't have massive lands of Americas, Auz, NZ or Tibet at our disposal. Even Pakistan, Burma & Sri-Lanka is done. We face visa ristriction even in some African places, does not matter if we Indian origin people are citizen of Japan.
It amazes me how they control Aborginals like Symonds into their norms and ofcource even the Indians in in their cricket teams. But for Indians, they trained loyalty/respect for themselves but hatred/distrust for each other.
