Dear Gladiator, there is no question of mis-conception. The Prophet (Mohammed) is the founder of Islam religion. Before The Prophet, there was no religion called Islam.
The so-called revealation from the Allah was the handiwork of The Prophet (Mohammed) to hoodwink and/or motivate his followers (with all those rewards in heaven or cruel punishments in hell, etc).
The Prophet (Mohammed) changed the verses from time to time to suit the peculiar circumstances. Any amount of jugglery with words cannot convince rationalits like me!

Dear Gladiator, this another Surah from The Koran:
2:222 They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. Say: It is an illness, so let women alone at such times and go not in unto them till they are cleansed. And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you. Truly Allah loveth those who turn unto Him, and loveth those who have a care for cleanness.
The Allah (or is it Mohammed) equates menstruation to an illness where as it is a normal biological process and a pre-condition for reproduction. Is this what you call devine revealation??????????????????

Yes what is the Definition of ILLNESS ? Dictionary.com says ILLNESS means 1. unhealthy condition; poor health; indisposition; sickness. Go and ask your Wife, Sister or Mother on How they feel when they are in Menses.... They wont be ready to come for a Picnic, which means they are not Feeling Well and Hence they are Sick...

Hi Imran, so far as I can see, the main problem with dogmatic muslims is their lack of understanding of The Koran. If they read the same in a language they fully understand, they will also understand the fact that there is nothing in the so-called holy book, except the handiwork of Mohammed to hoodwink his followers!
Any way we have to try out best to make the so-called warriors of Allah (or the corresponding denomination of other Gods), the futility of the so-called holy books, which have outlived their utility.

1. Who is the first muslim woman? Was she earned in a war booty against infidels? 2. Who was the first infidel whom Adam defeated? 3. Did Adam grabbed the wealth, women & children in the wars against so called infidels? 4. Whi created the infidels on this beautiful earth? God or somebody else? 5. Why God gave Supari to your profet to kill the people who don't believe in him? 6. God is supreme power, then why he needs help from you guys to cleanse this world from infidels? 7. God understands everything as he is the supreme power. Then why you need to please him?
