NO communal riots allright but it is just waiting to happen. I have never seen so.o much ghettoization of people based on caste & religion as i have seen in Gujarat. One small incident that is all it needs.

You can't force moslems to live in peace and harmony with non-moslems - that has been the source of conflicts around the world. They have created islamic ghettos(islamic nations) internationally. Within states, they demand separatism. Hindus asked them to respect their handful of holy sites and return them as gesture of goodwill and historic reconcillaion - a symbolic act they symbolizes they have renounced jihad against Hinduism and are willing to live in peace with Hindus - and what followed was ressurction of jihad against hinduism that forced hindus to make Ramjanmbhoomi a political issue and attack on train carrying pilgrims returning from Ayodhya set off an equally violent reaction from Hindu masses - that if moslems are not prepared to respect hindu faith and live in peace with hindus, than how can hindus and why? Hindus are merely reacting to politically-motivated Islamic belligerance nourished by psecularists. So you are right, untill these basic issues are settled and some sort of reconcilliation take place at religious level, it is an accident that is waiting to happen. Hindus will respond in kind but ball is in Moslem court and their psecularist patrons - if they seek bloody confrontation with hindus, that is what they will have. Having power in the hands of congress-communist nexus at the center assures that Hindu-Moslem religious-level reconcilliation will never take place but in fact aggrevated by appeasement of Islamic Jihad. Modi deserves credit for keeping
