We must appreciate how the Chinese people under their single Communist Party rule have achieved remarkable economic progress. We boast we have democracy. But we have made a mess of it. See how democracy works in Karnataka. Deve Gowda and his son HDK have made a mockery of democracy. They have not foolede the public. They have fooled themselves. Both father and son played fraud on the people, one calling BJP communal, the other forming a government with BJP and 20 months later cheated BJP by not transfering power to BJP. All developmnet projects were put on the back burner. HKD and his wife have amassed assets over Rs. 30 crores. Howe did the get it? Even God does not know. Is there a single MP or MLA in India who is poor. Answer is an emphatic NO! Our PM, a puppet PM now surrendered to the threats of Leftists, who represent only 10% of the population and put the 123 Deal with USA on the back burner. A lot can be said about the corruption and incompetence of our politicians. They are not our leaders. Only young. honest and energetic professionals should take over the country. The Presidential form of Democracy with only two or three national parties suits us more than the current system.What do our readers say?

I didnt elect a scumbag like Karat or Karunanidhi.. but those rascals are dictating what we need....
What we need is an overhauling of the constitution that was copied from the US and British systems!!! The democracy that we have is actually "DemoCrazy"!!

totally agree...current system is good for small countries only..not for big countries like us...but who is going to bring Presidential form of Democracy
